Kang Seung-Hyun (born 22 September 1987), also known as Hyoni Kang, is a Korean fashion model who won Ford's Supermodel of the World title in 2008. She is the first model of Asian ancestry to win this award.After she won the Supermodel of the World contest in January 2008, she participated in that year's New York and Paris Fashion Weeks, doing shows like Michael Kors, Rock & Republic, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Sonia Rykiel.She was on the cover of the Vogue Korea with Hye Rim Park in April, 2008. Kang has appeared in advertisements for Benetton and catalogs for Victoria's Secret. She also has a Lacoste Spring/Summer 2009 Campaign along with Alyona Osmanova and Tanya Dziahileva.
